So as soon as I got home on the 3rd after they took me off the pitosen the contractions stopped almost immediately. They started back up on Thursday Feb 4th sometime in the evening. Again nothing consistent but painful enough. My mom and I went to a Relief Society activity and was having some pretty hard contractions so Nana and I went home when it was over and I went straight to bed. I was not going back to the hospital to be sent home again. Max woke me up at 4:00am on Friday morning, just because and as I went into him room to get him. As I lifted him up my water broke, and so dad and I went to the hospital for a third time. They hooked me yet again and we waited for you to come. You came out in 8 min from the time I started pushing and you were lot bigger than we expected you to be. When you came out both dad and Dr. Hoffman announced you were a boy, I have to say that I was surprised but not at the same time. When they weighed you I couldn't believe how big you were, a big 9 lb 3 oz baby wow. When they put you in the little incubator table to clean you up, they had to put up the plastic sides because you kept moving yourself to the edge and you turned yourself completely around. When they put up the sides you grabbed on to it and pulled yourself to the edge, I can't believe how strong you are. You were born in the same room that Max was born in on the same day of the week so that was exciting to have that happen. We had a fantastic nurse named Stephani, I wish that I had gotten a picture of her with you but we didn't. She was really fantastic though and she was also our nurse when we came in on Wednesday.
We had a hard time picking a name for you. I really love the names Benjamin and Samuel but you just didn't fit either of those names. So we spent the next couple of days trying to figure out what we were going to name you. Stephani kept throwing out all kinds of names but nothing that we loved. We got on the Internet and when Nana came she also threw out some names. So I really don't know where the name Brock came from, if it was from the Nurse, Nana or the Internet. So we had it in the back of our heads and they wouldn't let us out of the hospital and Brock just really suit you and so we went with it. We decided to use William as your middle name, you are named after my dad, grandpa Bill. We are so glad that you are here after waiting which seemed like forever. We adore you and what a good little guy you are. Paige and Max just love you. I was a little bit worried about Max and what he would think of you but he took to you so well. He just wants to hug you and hold you and kiss you. I love it and I love you. Welcome to our family, we are so blessed to have you.

February 5th 2010
Feb 3rd
Dr. April Hoffman who also was my Dr with Max decided to induce me on Wednesday Feb 3rd. So Dad and I went in around 6am and got all set up. They came in and started me on Pitosin and other IV fluids. I wasn't progressing at all even when they tried to break my water twice, she couldn't get it. So we were there for 12 hours and then they sent me home because I hadn't progressed at all, all day. I was so upset and just cried because I was done and sore and tied and wanted to know who you were. So Dr. Hoffman said that she would try again in a week, which was didn't want to be pregnant for a whole week more. They gave me some medicine so I wouldn't be able to feel the pain so much but as soon as we got home it just made me so sick, it was horrible.
Jan 29th
We went out to eat at my favorite restaurant, Texas Road House. I'd been having contractions for a few days now some pretty strong ones too but nothing consistent. So as Dad was coming home from school I started having them more consistent and pretty hard, but we were all hungry and decided to go. The contractions were about 3-5 min apart and painful, as we were eating I was hurting pretty bad so about 4 hours or so past since they had started so in the middle of dinner we decided that we needed to go now. So we packed up out dinner and left in a hurry. We got home and got Paige and Max over to our amazing neighbors house the Farar's and phoned the Dr. She told us to come in because she was already there. So we went and as soon as I got to the hospital, the contractions stopped. They made me walk to halls for an hour to see if they would pick up again but nothing consistent, so after being there for 3 hours they sent me homeat 11:30pm. I wasn't thrilled about it.
Pregnancy Shots
The Story
Dad and I found out we were expecting you on June 3rd 2009. We were leaving for a big road trip on June 5th so needless to say we were very excited to know that you were coming and kind of scared at the same time. Dad was starting his 4th and last year of dental school so you were coming in just the right amount of time for us to have you and then graduate. Life was a little crazy when you came. Your due date was Feb 7th 2010. We decided or I should say, your dad decided that because you were our third he wanted it to be a surprise and so I gave in. I thought it would be so hard to not know what you were but it really wasn't that bad. There were times I have to admit that while I was shopping I really wanted to know but I was so glad in the end that you were a surprise. It was a lot of fun. I had a very hard pregnancy with you. Although compared to others I really should complain. I wasn't sick, I was just tired and having 2 kids already it was tough to keep up with them. You were measuring big the whole pregnancy and so I had several ultrasounds to make sure that everything was good. There were also times when I could have peeked or found out what you were but I stayed strong. You were measuring about 2-3 weeks bigger than I was. I was tested for all kinds of things like preclampsia, gestational diabetes and the like. I had blood work done and lots of pee tests, it was a real adventure with you. But you came and we are so very glad you are in our family.
